2009 LJSC $1000 Senior Scholarship awarded to Ashlee Coutu
The 2009 Senior Scholarship was awarded to Ashlee Coutu at the Lyman Memorial HS graduation ceremonies on Monday, June 22nd. A $1000 check and an LJSC Senior Scholarship certificate were presented to Ashlee in recognition of her essay describing the importance of youth sports in her life and her plans to support youth sports in the future. Congratulations Ashlee!

UpComing Events:
Registration for the Fall 2009 continues via online and mail-in registration.
Tryouts for Fall 2009 LJSC Comp teams were held at the Lions field on June 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th. As team rosters are finalized thy will be posted.
LJSC Summer Camp put on by Challenger will be held July 20 - 24
2009 Fun Day is scheduled for Oct 3rd and 4th. |

Tryouts for LJSC Comp teams were held on the first two weekends in June. As team rosters are finalized they will be posted to the Team section.

2008 LJSC Awards Presented
The LJSC Awards were presented in during the Coaches Appreciation Dinner in November.
Three Special Awards were presented:
Coach of the Year - Matt McEnany
Referee of the Year - Jacob Duff
Volunteer of the Year - Julie Santillo
One Club Award went to:
Jeff Sirois for the tremendous amount of time he spends helping with the day to day operations of the LJSC.
Congratulations to all four recipients and good luck to the Special Awards winners as they are the LJSC nominees for their respective NE CJSA categories.

Call for Alumni News
LJSC is devoting a new section of its web site to past members, LJSC children, who have grown up and continue to play soccer at various levels. Anyone with news can forward their information and pictures to the LJSC Web Director for posting. LJSC is very proud of its history and would like to show off its kids. |

U12 Girls Comp Team are Columbus Day Champs!
Congratulations go out to the U12 Girls Comp team for their great show at the CWSA Columbus Day Tournament. The girls, with Coaches Merritt and Santillo support, marched through their bracket and took the Championship!
