Please arrive at least 1/2 hour before your first game to check in, go over the rules, schedule and fields, hand in anything owed to me (signed rosters, payment, entry form) and present your team's medical releases.

We will have a concession stand serving breakfast goodies (egg sandwiches, donuts, muffins and other delectables) as well as lunch foods, snacks and drinks. The proceeds help defray the costs of Fun Day and support our club projects. In addition, there will be an inflatable bouncy for the younger crowd to play in. The $1 charge supports our club's Senior Scholarship fund. There will also be a apparel vendor on site with a variety of T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and sweatpants for purchase. A transfer with all the participants' names will be available to add to the backs of shirts and jackets.

A Revolutionary War encampment reenactment may also being held this weekend on the Lebanon Green. Most of you will drive right past it on the way to Fun Day. Take some time before or after your games to wander through the camp to get a feel for what it was like in colonial times.

Thanks again for join Fun Day,

Dolores Porrino
Fun Day Director

SCHEDULING:

1. U8 teams will play on Saturday, October 1, 2011.  U10 teams will play on Sunday, October 2, 2011.
2. Approximately 100 games will be scheduled each day. A new game will begin every 45 minutes straight through the day.
3. Teams will play three games total.  Games will be 30 minutes long (two 15 minute halves with a 5 minute half time).  Each team will have a 30 minute break between its 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd games.
4. Contact people or coaches will be notified of the start time of their team’s first game by Wednesday, September 28, 2011.  Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of their first game to get their field assignments and the times of their other two games.
5. Schedules will be arranged to the extent possible so teams from the same town will not play each other.
6.  To the extent possible and at a coach’s request, a team’s schedule will be arranged to avoid conflict with religious observances.  Since it may not be possible to honor all such requests, requests will be considered in the order received and only if the team’s Registration Form, Fee, and typed Roster have been received.
7. In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Director and Referee Scheduler will decide whether or not games will be played.  Cancellation of play on Saturday will not preclude Sunday’s competition.  If either day is cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule.  Fees will be refunded to teams that cannot make a rescheduled date.
